ABOUT COLLEGE
About
The College library was established in 1968. The library was maintained by the Librarian with supportive staff and students under the supervision of Principal. A qualified librarian was appointed in 9-10-2021. The library has with total number of 30, 000 volumes of books belonging to various disciplines and 2 no. of journals and magazines, 3 daily newspapers. The College has central library and separate reading room containing books, periodicals, news papers; maps and e-resources. It plays a vital role in promoting the progress knowledge among staff and students. It is an integral component of this institution where the students have direct open access to the books, periodicals and journals relevant to their academic disciplines. Library automation is processing with e-Granthalaya4.0 from NIC; New Delhi. The individual departments have departmental libraries with text and reference books. Books from the central library and the department libraries are issued to the faculty members and the students. Annual membership of INFLIBNET-NLIST is paid which give access to e-resources like e-Journals and e-books. The college librarian has developed a Google site to access categorized online e-resources from available Internet Open Access Resources by developing through ELearning Portal via College website. Which provides National Digital Library of India (NDL), SWAYAM, CCE, Swayam Prabha, Shodh Sindhu, N – List, e- Pathshala, MHRD virtual labs and Spoken Tutorial by IIT Bombay and subject wise e-Books, Subject wise e-Journals, e-dictionaries, e-encyclopedias, e- Competitive exam resources , e-Atlases etc. .

Library Automation
Library automation is processing with e-Granthalaya4.0 of National Informatic Centre, New Delhi. E-Granthalaya is a Digital Agenda for Automation and Networking of Government Libraries - is a Digital Platform developed and maintained by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. This Cluster of e-Granthalaya is dedicated to Libraries under Government Colleges in various States of the Country where e-Granthalaya 4.0 on NIC Cloud is being used for Library Automation and Networking. The OPAC of these libraries are available in public domain where various online services are provided by participating libraries.

Use of Library
Our College Library is Academic Library. Hence the library users are Staff and students. Library period is allotted for students in their regular time table to use the library. And also students are using the library in their leisure periods for physical access of the print books.
Library Advisory Committee
The library is monitored by an Advisory committee which meets once in six months and takes important decisions for improving the library service to the staff & students.
Libaray rules
- Library is open for use for all students and staff of the college.
- Library is kept open on all working days from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00p.m.
- Library will remain closed on all public holidays.
- Each student is eligible to borrow two books from the library.
- The loan period is 15 days from the date of the issue.
- Renewals are allowed on the basis of demand. Book and person should be presented for each renewal.
- The Librarian may recall any book at any time.
- Member should verify and report, if any defect is found in the book at the time of borrowing.
- If any defect is found at the time of return, the member is required to replace the book.
- Member will be held responsible for all the defects which she does not point out at the time of borrowing.
- No reference book will be issued outside the library.
- All marking, underlining etc., is forbidden.
- Silence should be strictly observed in the library.
- Internet browsing will be available through the Librarian.
