Overview:

The department of Botany, one of the oldest departments in our college was established in the year 1968. Currently the department offering Botany at undergraduate level with Zoology and Chemistry as allied subjects.

The Department was initially designated to teach traditional Botany and it has diversified in recent years to offer various Skill Enhancing Courses such as Plant Nursery, Fruits and Vegetables Preservation, Seed Technology, Plant Propagation, Vegetables Crops – Cultivation Practices, and Mushroom Cultivation etc apart from core Botany.
