ABOUT COLLEGE

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in the college was established in 2012. The primary task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution. The IQAC has to ensure outcome-oriented quality work is taken up by different departments of the HEI and the stakeholders in tune with the 'Vision' and 'Mission'.

Functions of IQAC

  • Development and application of quality benchmarks / parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution
  • Creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty knowledge / skill promotion to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process
  • Arrangement for feedback from students, parents, alumni and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes
  • Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education
  • Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars, conferences and symposia on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles
  • Documentation of the various programs / activities leading to quality improvement
  • Acting as the nodal agency of the Institution for planning, monitoring and coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices
  • Development and maintenance of institutional database related to SSR/ AQAR through MIS for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing the institutional quality
  • Development of Quality Culture in the institution
  • Guiding the institution and members for preparation and timely submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) and preparing the Institutional Information for Quality Assessment (llQA) and Self Study Report (SSR) for Assessment and Accreditation as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC
